Is any data sent to the internet?
Without the parent app: no. All times and settings stay on the PC. Only when you pair your phone are requests and remaining times transferred – end-to-end encrypted. Neither Mignuti Media nor the hosting provider can read this content.
Does Timerz work without the internet?
Yes. The limiting on the PC runs fully offline. The internet is only needed for the optional parent app.
Can my child simply close or bypass Timerz?
Timerz runs as a protected Windows service and can only be stopped or changed with the parent PIN. No technical tool is one hundred percent bypass-proof – accounts with administrator rights are deliberately not limited, so your child should use a standard account.
Several children on one PC?
Yes. Each Windows account gets its own rules, times and reports. In the parent app you simply switch between children.
Which version of Windows do I need?
Windows 10 or Windows 11 (64-bit). The .NET runtime is already included – you don't need to install anything extra.
Do I absolutely need the phone app?
No. Timerz works completely without a phone. The parent app is only handy if you also want to respond while you're out.
